Social Responsibility and Volunteerism Coordination Advisory Board Meeting was Held

An online meeting was held by our Social Responsibility and Volunteerism Coordinatorship with the participation of the advisory board members.

Our coordinator Assoc. Dr. At the meeting, which started with the opening speech of Arzu Bulut, information was given about the work carried out by our Coordination Office. Then, social responsibility and volunteering practices implemented in different universities were shared in detail by the advisory board members.

To the meeting; Assoc. Prof. from Atatürk University Faculty of Communication. Dr. Meryem Okumuş, Dr. from Dokuz Eylül University and Galimi Çınarlı Rural Development and Tourism Association. Lecturer Member Adil Çınarlı, Kudret Egen from Manyas Youth and Sports District Directorate, Turkish Red Crescent Bandırma Branch President Halil Özümüt, İZGE Disabled People Association President Nail Yurdusev and our University student Ravzanur Kaşıkçı attended. In addition, our Deputy Coordinators Lecturer. See. Nesrin Demir and Lecturer. See. Coşkun Kalp and our commission member Lecturer. See. Dr. Özlem Sezer also took part in the meeting.

At the meeting, the work carried out by representatives of non-governmental organizations in the field of social responsibility and volunteerism was evaluated and views were exchanged on projects that could be implemented and cooperation opportunities. Attention was drawn to the importance of developing cooperation between universities, local governments, youth organizations and non-governmental organizations.
