Future Teachers Touch Little Hearts with the "Life in the Garden" Project

As part of the "Life in the Garden" project, implemented in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University's Faculty of Sport Sciences and the Erdek District Directorate of National Education, our university students brought joy and activity to elementary school gardens.

Senior students in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching created traditional playgrounds at Atatürk Elementary School, Çakıl Elementary School, Karşıyaka Elementary School, and İstiklal Elementary School. During weekly activities, the students not only created physical playgrounds but also interacted with children one-on-one, playing these games, contributing to the preservation of cultural values ​​from the past to the present.

This meaningful project aimed to increase children's physical activity levels and to pass down traditional children's games to future generations.

Future teachers inspired young hearts at one of the most valuable stops in their educational journeys, creating unforgettable memories that touched children's imagination, movement energy, and social skills.
